Visitors to the Haight Street boutique can order a flight or glass of wine paired with a chocolate truffle or nibble.<br /><br />Each one of 122° West Winery’s wines are meticulously taste-tested with Coco-luxe’s chocolates to ensure that they match well on the pallet and that neither the wine or chocolate over-powers the other. “It’s really a fun and enjoyable way to display how artisanal wine and chocolates can work together,” says Coco-luxe owner Stephanie Marcon. Marcon adds that, “we have worked for over a year to present a great experience.”<br /><br />The Coco-luxe Confections and 122° West Winery boutique will also host events ranging from meeting the winemaker to new chocolate release pairing parties. “We don’t want our customers to rely just on us to pair chocolates and wine,” says 122° West Winery co-owner Stan Bradbury. Bradbury said events at the boutique will invite customers to try new release wines and have fun matching them up varied chocolates and other seasonal confections.
